i have no idea how that man motivates his players he looks dead inside all the time! i think bruno is the real coach bts lmao
This is what I’ve been told, he’s a great man manager, there’s no denying that. But as a tactical manager he lacks that pedigree to take us further as a team.
Ole getting the extension regardless, but the form will always be too inconsistent. Even if you gave him every quality player imaginable. You can’t always rely on individual brilliance every single game
has sterling ever had a good game against us idk why pep even selects him at this point
He's been trapped in Wan Bissaka's pocket for years

because euros is all I have to look froward to now, ive been thinking a lot about the forwards. sancho/grealish should start over sterling/rashford. the latter two just make so many bad decisions

Hopefully we can just get some quality coaches in around him. Sir Alex was never renowned for his tactical insights. He relied on people like Queiroz and Meulensteen for that side of things.
McKenna is supposed to be a really great coach but it doesn't really seem to show. Our patterns of play are largely poor. Phelan was never known for the tactical side of things. And Carrick and Fletcher are still learning.

100%
Rashford and Sterling on the bench is solid though lmao

I have no faith in Southgate to make positive form over reputation calls.
Hope we don't have another supposed "golden age" of English players where they don't win anything

This the important thing about ole is he has the desire to learn to make this club a long term success. I see him as the Dave Filoni of man Hester United to put in Star Wars terms

He’s proven himself tactically against the best manager in the world

I wish this would be the case, but I think Ole happy with the coaching set up even though it’s not good enough. Your right he would benefit from having more quality coaches around him

Yeah but we’ve been through this route before though. ole pulls a big result against City or another top side, then we bottle it against the sides at the bottom.

That a***ogy

Yeah I agree, I think he's a bit stubborn to bring new people in and a little too content with the 'old boys' feel

Beckham Scholes Lampard Gerard Owen Rooney Rio Terry Cole Neville
vs.
Sancho Sterling Grealish Rashford Kane Foden Saka Greenwood Trent Shaw Bellingham
lots of potential, but nowhere near the 2000s era yet and somehow all the talent is now in more attacking areas no good midfielders ala lamps/gerrard/scholes nor world class defenders like rio and terry (hell even sol Campbell better than current CB's)

So he has proven himself tactically and struggles with consistency because of the lack of depth in the squad

No doubt we lack depth. But there's still been plenty of opportunities this season where players could have been rested and rotated but he's chosen not to. Its been a recurring theme since he took over and he always ends up running players into the ground.

Tbh I think we got one of the best squad depths in the league. The majority of games this season. He hasn’t used that depth to his advantage. Look at that Sociedad game when we were 4-0 up. You didn’t need to give Bruno and Rashford minutes for the 2nd leg, but Ole still played them when he had the opportunity to play other players.

is this our first win against the big 6 all season? idk how ole pulls this s*** out of the bag like this

So clearing out the deadwood from managers past and integrating new young player and academy products would help revitalize the squad

Because the players love him.
We know what the atmosphere would be like if we had gotten battered by city online/press/in this thread. The dressing room does not want to see him go

Are you disagreeing or agreeing I'm confused
