Whoever gets Haaland wins the league that season so just pray he doesn't go to City or Liverpool
Doubt Haaland or Mbappe go to Liverpool. They could easily miss out on the CL, after what those two have achieved I doubt they'd drop out of the CL. Even if they make it you'd imagine they'd get blown out of the water money wise.
Think Chelsea or City are much more likely for Haaland. Gonna be tough for United to beat Chelsea's financial ambition and CIty's clear path to trophies
If we want to get Haaland, we have to get him this summer btw. He has a 75 million release clause in his contract for next year. We’d have a lot more competition for him then. The likes of Juventus, Bayern Munich, Barcelona, Real Madrid, City, PSG, Liverpool & Chelsea will all want to sign him then.
If we bid over a 100 mil and get him on a Pogba contract be’d the only way we could ever get him tbh.

Idk, I doubt Pep wants Haaland tbh. We all know Pep isn’t really good at working with ego’s, he needs some players that jerk him off all of the time or he will not like you.
That’s the reason we have to go 100% on him. Ain’t no other team in the world has the money to sign him apart from us, City and PSG. We all know he ain’t going to PSG so there’s really only 2 clubs left. Only other I could see him going to is Real, but they are in a very bad financial situation atm.
You missed out Chelsea - they have plenty of cash, and they’re probably the only ones who’ve been flaunting it during COVID

Yeah you right. Idk maybe depends on where they end in the table/CL. If they still do very good this season, abramovich might slow down on the spending. While if they fail to make top 4, Haaland might not want to join them.
It’s really surprising to me that Chelsea has been getting these great results since Tuchel. They were f***ing horrible against us a few weeks ago.
I'd take Pogba-Varane swap or Ronaldo-Pogba swap. Any of these would solve one of the problems we have on the pitch and will also save us the embarrassment of making a big loss on Pogba. Don't see us getting Haaland tbh simply because I doubt we would be challenging for titles 2 years from now still
The most ideal scenario for us would actually be for Dortmund to make top 4 in Germany, retain CL football, and him to stay at Dortmund for an extra season.
That allows us to sign Sancho/Varane/whoever etc. this summer and then sign Haaland next season.
Sancho is definitely leaving this summer. Haaland is on the fence, I feel.
Finally it’s all done now, United have appointment in-house. Are they the best candidates for the position remains to be seen. But at least all that gossip about DOF is finally over. Interesting summer ahead
Gotta say academy has been doing well since then tbh. We’ve been promoting well and seem to have a good stock of youth with potential
Yeah seems Murtough is a real solid choice from all I am reading. Only worrying bit is Judge still being involved. And lets see how much freedom there ultimately is from Woodward oversight.

We’re going to get f***ed on all transfer negotiations anyway it seems like. We’re not good planners - hopefully we can be more strategic going forward with incoming and outgoing

Not filled with confidence but step in the right direction
Less power to Woodward the better. This is fantastic for us who cares if he’s not famous. He’s helped academy become solid again and seems to understand the United DNA.
Just need Woodward to stay out of the way and go line the glazers pockets with business deals

Hope we see them make a statement this summer

I actually wouldnt mind if we signed......pulisic. last year after covid break he was one of the best players in England. rumors all week that we're interested in him, and I think he's super dynamic versatile and could be a good signing for low fee.
that is if sancho is not happening. badly need a RW
