The message from day one, it is going to get worse before it gets better
This is a long term plan
Just because he made a quippy quote at the start of his tenure doesnât make his performance any less outrageously bad.

It doesnât, and the league form should be a whole lot better
Given the context of United in 2025 Iâm surprised by the reaction more than the results honestly
Because the right manager will make a difference? Why just give up and accept nobody can turn the ship around.
Thatâs the same as buying a couple players and them being s*** and deciding well we shouldnât try to buy players anymore cause we always get it wrong.
Literally we just have to pick ourselves up and go out there again. Eventually weâll make the right call.
Right but the revolving door of managers has worked so well so far
Almost like thereâs a lot more going on that most moronic United fans wonât acknowledge
But no bring in your Flick or Xavi, theyâll get Hojlund scoring and do what the last 12 years of âinsert star manager name hereâ hasnât been able to Im sure of it!
Have to be real about all of this. Even if we get champions league football next season weâre not getting far into that competition and it would take a miracle for us to make top four next season based on how awful we are.
Fergie was really holding this s*** together.
This group of players is not good enough for UCL.
I hope we win the Europa sack Ruben and bring in whatever hot name the morons want. Reality checks will be rough
Am I reading this right? âGive this job to someone elseâ
he doesnât even believe in himself fml
He's been begging to get fired since his first interview I swear

Who said anything about UCL? Is this group of players good enough to finish mid table at least? 8th? Definitely.
Weâre 16th. Probably 17th after next Sunday. Yes weâve had a revolving door of managers, but not a single one of them was this bad and even Ralf during his interim 6 month spell didnât do what Ruben is up to.
And he literally got to have his ugarte CM previous system player, and dorgu for his wing back role. So he needs another 8 players and then something will click? When you show zero progress in 6 months, how many more months do you get to say âoh but for sporting he did it just waitâ. How long are you waiting?
16th. -11 GD.
We thought we were in the trenches bc we werenât title challengers, we didnât know how good we had it

Ffs and weâre supposed to just say yeah letâs give this dude the 200m bankroll to get his players. Itâll be dark if he buys system specific guys that have no role when the next manager that plays 4 at the back comes in.
he needs come out strong even in preseason. especially after we just realized we're playing the mid table slog of Everton bournemouth Leeds etc. if he doesnt win every friendly like 4-1 OR show that we are now capable of stringing together more than 5 passes outside of our centre backs, that leash is so short anything less than like 3 out of 4 wins in august and he should be sacked.

Let me tell you now, it wonât happen

The post I replied to was about UCL football
You all wanted a rebuild until you actually had to go through one
Immediate success isnât reality in Unitedâs current state - no manager changes that

what does a rebuild have to do with showing zero positive signs of progression in 6 months? what is the reason for that? Ruben is so special that he just needs 2 years to get our 'shitty' players to fit his system?
If somebody wants him take that money and run, dude is a bum.
Pointless ad-hominem

What's worst about the Ugarte signing is that unlike most other signings of the last years it wasn't a ETH signing, he would have kept McTominay. It just confirms that INEOS also have no idea what they're doing regarding transfers, and thats really worrying.

at least they havent chased and then fired/'re-assigned' half their key exec hires. oh wait.

In one post you agree none of our players would get in the 11 of a top 4 team
In another you want him to win every game 4-1
Yes he should do better. But the expectations are low. This isnât a good enough side. Itâs not a 16th placed side but itâs not good enough to be much better. By all accounts we shouldâve finished 15th last year too.
This is the worst attack in a United side in at least 27 years - Iâve not seen a worse one

Revolving door
This club has struggled to sack managers at the opportune time year in year out since SAFâs departure
There isnât a single manager who hasnât overstayed his welcome post SAF
You know itâs bad when the Amoriminners are dropping the âwho should replace him?!?!!â line instead of giving you genuine reasons why a manager who has 6 wins in 25 matches should continue to be afforded time and more importantly a whole budget to blow.
The ten Hag defence.

Well who should replace him? Thereâs so many admitted gaping holes in this side the fact you want to back the players over the manager in this instance is bizarre.
This side was tailor made to a Dutch manager who didnât understand the league. It failed with a 4 back. Failed with a 3 back. Maybe, just maybe this set of players just isnât good enough?
Like I said last season we were on paper expected to finish 15th. Weâre 16th now. Two different managers two different styles of play. Well the first one didnât really have a style of play but you get the point.
In one breath weâre bemoaning how s*** the players we have are, yet in the next were bombarding the manager for being unable to get any life out of them.
Heâs not invincible, he shouldnât stay forever but the idea of sacking him now is absolutely terrible and I know thatâs unpopular in the world of getting likes and reactions and whatever else but I am adamant its the truth
