Only if the Glazers keep reducing their ownership which will in turn lessen the amount of money/resources they take from the club and the debt they continue to put on the club via interest each year

Sadly, anything we win is despite them and I can’t see any real consistent dominance with their ownership

this is what most concerns me about Ruben. we dont have the luxury of misfiring on signings. he needs to improve his existing players. relying on a bunch of transfers to save his job isn't gonna work especially when we have the scouts that we have and the poor decision making of not even being able to find the right man for the job without firing him after 1 cup of coffee.

Biggest upside for Ruben is INEOS continue to get pelted for deciding to take ETH’s one year extension option, overpaying for Ashworth only to pay out his contract, and the constant cuts to club staff. It’s not likely they’ll be trigger happy regardless of UCL or not (which won’t save us from PSR) and will hopefully back him in to whatever extent they can..

The Glazers could strengthen our transfer/ PSR position tomorrow by paying off the debt they’ve put on the club with their own money, not the club’s money.

Goes unmentioned too often that none of the $1.65b that Ratcliff paid the Glazer family for his minority share went towards the debt or interest payments
