That’s why he should’ve started, Nacho is only effective when he’s got space to run into
Garnacho against tired legs sitting back works because he's direct and brings chaos, you don't need that against a higher team it just means he loses the ball higher up without the possibility of creating a chance for a s*** goal

I wouldn’t put Garnacho in a box saying he’s better against a high line etc but he’s certainly shown he can be effective at both I mean look at what he did to city in last years final from a starting position

How effective are we pretending Garnacho even is?
WHL the 1-0 this season he missed 45 chances
When he’s in, 1 on 1 do you think he buries it? I know I f***ing don’t

Surely it’s a better chance then not getting a chance at all with mount?

The same Mount who scored two brilliant goals in the last Europa game?
Hindsight is pointless

I find him very frustrating to watch but he is only 20 so there's still time, but placing all your expectations on him to score for us is insane and destined to fail

Mount scoring two great goals should not have guaranteed his place in a Wuropa Lea final against a much more physical premiership side that’s done nothing against all season. He also didn’t start that game. Now if he was playing striker I’d be all for it because I believe he’d be an upgrade

The same way it is spending 70m on a guy who’d scored less than 20 professional goals to be your only striker
Fundamental failures beyond the guy who’s been here 6 months

Hojlund has played awful for us but he's not given any conditions to succeed or improve in, he's gotten worse through all the pressure and expectations put on him, some players take the pressure and make themselves better but some need to be massaged into it, I think he'll do great in the Serie A or another league and in a couple years the same people talking s*** about him will be saying we should've never sold him, same old story
Guys it’s not the manager, it’s the players!
No guys it’s not the players, it’s the expectations!
Find some shame
It has been the worst quality of football for us in the Premier League ever, the only convincing wins have come in Europe
Your second point is ridiculous
who you got thats worse?
who you got thats worse?
I don’t think or discuss in those terms, I want to see us succeed

I never said it was just one thing, please stop projecting onto me based on what you see others say 🙏

im saying just in general has there been any worse run by any manager of any club ever? not talking bout united here. I think its actually impressive to stay in the job as the reason I think there is no comparable is b/c they dont last till it gets this bad.

I don’t care
Hopefully I’ll wake up tomorrow to some headlines saying SJR is furious with the manager and the players and that heads will roll, because man it’s gonna be a long year otherwise

I’m usually the last guy to not back the manager at Manchester United but no I can’t think of anyone who’s done worse. The results have been unacceptable and the performances haven’t been much better. If he should stay or go is all dependent on the amount of backing he’ll get in the summer which means we would have to be crafty and pull some deals out of are ass with no champions league football +millions in debt which I wouldn’t trust the ownership to pull off in a million years. All our focus should be on the ownership to and not replacing a manager who hasn’t had a transfer window yet but that’s hard to do when Relegation is a real threat next season.
Showing loyalty to any part of this club other than the institution itself after a season like this is just silly. Board, manager, players, nobody deserves it.

What are the implications of “loyalty”?

idk how you give him a summer window when he has failed to show any sign of life. tricky decision.
