It’s been decades since we had a midfielder that could actually turn and play a forward pass. Bruno does it but then cancels it out by forgetting to defend. Frenkie type would be nice. Doubt it happens don’t think Ruben prioritize that, prob end up with a more box to box type.
For me a truly great midfielder is the best position to watch
Carrick was my favourite player for a long time, always used to get s*** for it that he was invisible etc but having someone in the middle of the park conducting play is goated to watch

Interesting. Carrick is one my least liked United players especially after that Bayern goal. Used to always hope Anderson Hargreaves or scholes would start over him.
Their flop only cost them 15m and has a lot of interest in them so they can shift him again after a year. We bought our flops for 70m+, are going into their nth season, can’t attract any interest cus of their crazy salaries, and our dumbass manager wants to keep them because they’re ‘such nice guys’ and ‘work really hard’. I know which I’d rather have.
Say what you want about our flops, THIS was a flop.
I have been s***ting on this World Cup all week but here I am on a Tuesday in June watching inter play some random Mexican team.
Mexicans have Ramos. I swear he’d be an upgrade on every single one of our defenders today.
Is barella ever gonna get tired of Italy? So much quality there although may struggle physically in England.

Wonder what the “random generator” will give us on Wednesday for the fixtures
I’m expecting Spurs or City or some s*** for the first game
F***ing knew it
17 Aug: Arsenal (H)
23 Aug: Fulham (A)
30 Aug: Burnley (H)
13 Sep: Manchester City (A)
20 Sep: Chelsea (H)
No pressure Ruben f*** me
Sesko hat trick @ old Trafford gonna hit like crack
Like your positivity but United aren't getting Sesko
Bro won 6 PL games the whole season, why we pretending like any team who isn’t a newly promoted side is anything other than difficult under this regime — it could’ve been City, Chelsea, Arsenal or Brighton, Brentford, Newcastle — same difference

Because of the running belief last seasons mess is just that, last seasons
Whether that is true remains to be seen (need more movement and more of the summer to get an indication imo, but Cunha day 1 is a nice start we're just now at the point where the next one needs to land)
And no last seasons mess isn't just "the wingback guy"
Change in hierarchy, redundancies, poor morale from a manager that overstayed his welcome, radical 180 to a totally different playstyle and expectation
Berada said in the interview they are now looking to solidify the foundation across the board, let's hope he delivers on that. I'm sure we'll see the fruits of that labour if they do
A lot of important fixtures!
Why I don’t necessarily want Mbeumo and Osimhen - and we already have Amad out.
