When put into context it becomes clear Šeško is the best option for his age range, Watkins obviously more of a sure bet but long term I think it works well, exciting
Yeah, it's not some total random gamble

If Højlund was put up in the same discussion at the time of his signing would he be top 5 highest scoring under 23 strikers
Probably not the perfect metric, but as has been the case for a while there aren’t many proper number 9’s going around
Feel bad for Højlund, think he’s in too deep with the pressure of playing at United, the social media stuff is not good no matter what narrative he’s trying to spin, a move to a league with less intense expectations and less constant noise should do him well

Similar price to Cunha and Mbuemo as well

Why feel bad for the bum

"he’s in too deep with the pressure of playing at United"
sounds like literally every player since sir alex left

Be hilarious watching that front three thinking we had to pretend Garnacho was any good

Honestly felt crazy watching him and people saying “he’s still young” he’ll get better.
Like it or not in modern football it is obvious if a player is worth anything or not regardless of age.
A lot of rashfords bad habits he just never got rid of as great as he turned out.
Greenwood Mainoo Pogba all looked naturals and ready at 17/18.
Garnachos iq has not changed one bit, no different from januzaj

He was one of the only players I've been absolutely sure would miss a one on one when he was in on goal
I’m just really happy about the prices we’re paying for all and the profiles
Cunha, £62m; 26
Mbuemo, £65m; 26
Sesko, £66m; 22
First time I can ever remember completely replacing our front line. This must be how Chelsea feel every summer
Be hilarious watching that front three thinking we had to pretend Garnacho was any good
Garna was/is a good player lol the only problem is that he genuinely believes he's 2008 Ronaldo
so do we still think he is legit or is he milking it now
i mean he was bound to get one right eventually
I’ve been looking through line ups from last year and seeing a lot of 442 and 4222 with him paired with Openda
That being said, I don’t watch Leipzig regularly so if you’ve got more insight I’d be curious to hear how his role shifted
yeah I don't watch leipzig too much either so I'm not all that sure but I always thought Rose ball was more like 4-2-3-1 with fluid inside 10s like xavi or some sort of a 3-4-3 variation, with 4-4-2 being used a few times or fluidly during matches. looking at it now though you’re most probably right, I thought he started playing Sesko and Openda together more often towards the end of the season but it looks like 4-2-2-2 was quite often the move as you mentioned, I wrongly assumed it wasn't the default or core identity throughout the season but it seemingly was.
also I probably got it a bit mixed up with the previous season as I thought Openda was the clear starting 9 and that Sesko's role varied as he was coming off the bench in maybe like almost half of the matches, not this season though so the pairing def makes sense. my bad
however I still think that it’s rather more asymmetrical than a rigid two-striker setup as Sesko got some good movement and link-up and transition play rather than just being used as a poacher. could possibly work with hojlund but idk i just personally don’t think he is or ever was good enough for the role
so do we still think he is legit or is he milking it now

Andre Onana instrumental in our most important signing since Cristiano yet some want him gone!
