Yeah man let’s sell our best player because he doesn’t fit the 25% win rate system, great plan
i'm bruno fc but 100+ milly for a 30 year old is some good bidness
whether amorim makes it past Christmas or not that money can go a long way
90-100m for Fernandes would be the second highest of all 30+ year olds of all time after Ronaldo to Juventus. Won’t get a figure like this ever again.
We already rejected it earlier in the summer, sadly. Just don’t cry about Chelsea and Liverpool getting such good deals when they sell at the right time

It was a mistake to not cash in - Arsenal was the perfect example of why he is a net negative player and I'm sure we will get a number of examples
Chances created tho
Anyway enough negativity let's actually support the team lol
Hope we have a f***ing good showing today again the wait has killed me
Context is irrelevant in football
Tottenham literally finished 17th last season
Idk about consistently - ever since the turn of the century, England and Barca/Madrid have dominated. Inter are the only Italian UCL winners iirc. Italian football just mismanaged the lead they had back in 90s and money poured into England after creation of PL.
I mean germany spain, portugal and italy just win more. But we can all agree the Premier League is much tougher
Maybe it’s the exhaustion that kills Premier League teams 🤔

I’m also just willing to try something new - unfortunately Bruno has been here the whole time we’ve sucked bar a few good months under every manager before it regressed to mediocre.
But he’s never gonna leave, if he wanted the money bag from Saudi I think he’d have taken it in June. Not on Aug 30 when we’re showing life for the first time ever and he can captain the team to something promising.

The work Frank did there in 2 months is incredible. They look like they’ve been under his spell for 5 years, everyone knows what to do. Richarlison you couldn’t give away and is now looking like R9.
In theory he’s coming at a good time after the disaster of last week, and Onana for 2 seasons. Expectations are low it’s not like he’s replacing anyone great. And no Europe this year either.

I heard he’s bad at catching crosses 😬

Damn that’s the one thing that I feel like we just never help goalkeepers develop. De Gea never improved in that aspect, nor Onana.
I wish there was just a 30-35 year old solid non hype goalkeeper we could sign like VDS.
110M midfielder hooked at half time with his team trailing. Hmmmmm
Not watching the game but he better be injured

Looks completely fine on the bench idk.
It’s so funny how our fanbase can completely obsess over a player they haven’t seen 3 full games from, ppl were actually like ughhhh INEOS just pay the £120 million. And then wonder why we’re a laughing stock. Glad we walked away, just try again next year if he’s actually good enough
Starting Mount over Mainoo again
I thought he was supposed to play over Ugarte/Casemiro?
Mount covers more ground and is a better presser - but yeah completely agree, can you really field a player who will just put pressure on? I do think he put in a good performance though
I didn't like the Ugarte sub either and not just because Ugarte is absolutely dog s***
Lmao you even agreed with me on this last week @KingOfPop
we have a week rest between games
start the new shiny toy!!!!!!!!
He’ll start against big Grimsby on Wednesday
Giving not having a striker as an excuse, just to bench said striker two games in a row
Lmao you even agreed with me on this last week @KingOfPop
No, I didn't. That was a point about Mount in general not the idea Kobbie should start over him.
That side of the discussion was around the Ugarte sub.
So which one is it? Can he be the high intensity presser or the forward chance creator? He's definitely not both.
This "omg poor wittle kobbie" routine after 1 league game is lame as f***
