This is not even big chances created

fairly criticised given the f***ing money spent

it’s not like he’s been s*** but he’s clearly gotta do more

also it’s not helping when that bum salah fumbles every chance he creates for him

unlucky at times however that’s totally not an excuse for going 009

I really like Wirtz, I think he’s Germany’s best player and was the main reason Leverkusen got the double. He just fits that #10 mould that still exists in the Bundesliga but has been extinct from the PL in a really long time.

I don’t think they adequately replaced what Trent can do. Isak and Ekitike feels like overkill because there’s less service now

All Szoboszlai can do is mog the camera and give away cheap pens. Which is hilarious because he was someone who was bought to play in the attacking third. But they don’t know what to do with him (like Wirtz) and now he’s a fill-in RB.

Lmao Szoboszlai is the team’s best player alongside eki and gravenberch so far this seasonšŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

You have no f***ing clue what you’re talking about have you even seen any of the games this year… this team would have gotten 1-2 points instead of 6 from the newcastle & arsenal games if it wasn’t for szobo

Other than that you’re not wrong but szoboszlai hate is funny

They miss Diaz way more than I think they thought they would too.

    meh

he felt underpaid and wanted to leave anyways, getting 80m from bayern was the best outcome for everyone involved i fear

definitely missing some of that dynamic though so you’ve got a point…. rio should get even more chances though cause he’s been delivering some of that

Wirtz and Isak have massively f***ed up the squad balance — it’s so unlike Liverpool of the past 10 years or so to buy big players without truly having spots for them.

Ekitike started the season completely fine and should’ve been undisputed no.9. Midfield three they had last year was completely fine too. Should’ve used that money on a CB and a LW.

    Long may it continue

As I said before the transfer even happened, I still don’t quite get Wirtz’s place in the squad…. easily the transfer I’ve been excited the least about this summer even with all that surrounding hype. Yes it was a nice statement signing I guess but idk

Totally agree with the Ekitike part. He’s amazing. I do believe Isak will come good after he gets back in the tempo, can tell he missed the pre-season.

However another no. 9 was definitely needed, couldn’t have relied solely on Eki the whole season. Will say I wanted Guehi as a priority and then a cheaper striker alternative (Mikautadze to be concrete) and a proper winger in rodrygo/barcola or at least someone like gordon or rogers. Can’t really blame them for pulling the trigger on Isak when the opportunity was there cause you’re not gonna find another no. 9 itw just like that but yeah, him & eki feels almost too luxurious.

Too many changes at once though. Feel like the striker situation will most definitely pay off long term but can’t say I will act too surprised if Wirtz ends up being another Havertz-ish situation. Probably and hopefully won’t end up that bad but yeah

Musiala has a higher ceiling than Wirtz imo

I think so too but I fear he may be cooked after this injury

Hopefully will manage to come back just like wirtz

I hope he'll be alright... honestly, probably the closest thing to messi in raw talent rn, he just doesn't get the media spotlight that yamal does because bundesliga is so under the radar

No, I'm calling Danny (an Arsenal fan) a cuck for defending Arne Slot (Liverpool manager) over Erik Ten Hag (literally unemployed)

They got like 80m for him, it’s understandable they accepted that tbh, weird thing is to spend that money on a 150 mil striker instead of a good replacement at LW when you just signed a 95 mil striker

I do agree but on the other hand have a look at the striker market and tell me if you think that there’s gonna be another opportunity like this in the coming years. Ofc someone new can pop out every single season but this just felt like worth making it happen tbf. Another striker was desperately needed anyways.
