My head is genuinely on mars, not because of Amorim getting sacked but why he's been sacked

    I can't believe it

In my few years of following this club this mismanagement hardly comes as a surprise to me even

INEOS coming out from this as the biggest clowns for sure though, not Amorim – first they fire Ashworth because of Amorim, only to dismiss him too a year later...

    Shambolic

And yet people think this will all magically change if it's Xavi that is being set up to fail from day 1 instead

None of these decisions on their own are bad to be honest, it's just the lack of stability and identity that's gonna cost us, we're not Chelsea and we don't have enough financial finesse to buy a decent trophy every few seasons through underhanded business

I don't believe that much in Arteta's principles but he is at least proof that continued belief in a manager and a specific way of playing is essential for some sort of success

If we gave Xavi a few seasons and supported him I think we could be in a good position but that doesn't happen at United no matter the manager

Amorim might've not been the right man but we didn't get the chance to find out

We're the most poorly run club in football possibly sports full stop

  • Think you guys need to go for some Dutchman again. But preferably someone who has already proven himself, for example by winning the Premier League title.

    ANTI

He’s probably gonna drop Yoro next game when in reality, Dalot shouldn’t play until March for letting that cross happen… but not only will he not be dropped, he’s allowed to wear the armband!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We need to go to war with Portugal

One Portuguese down, two to go

They are that bad, it's moronic decision from day zero before Amorim is even officially in charge

No Premier League team has won the title without a consistent managerial presence for a number of years now (slot walked into a prebuilt side)

Arteta's first full season had the exact narratives of this one and they did a lot worse

No you don't owe blind loyalty to anyone but if he is in charge go balls to the wall until he isn't anymore

Getting slightly more players than Fulham is absolutely not backing in any sense of the word either

idk about glasner, kinda see it going similarly to frank at spurs

shame about de zerbi being thoroughly unlikeable, his style of play seems quite good

iraola or howe could be good as far as prem managers go.

I wouldn’t mind xavi because he was one of my favorite players growing up and I think the ex-United pundit bunch would have too much respect for him to openly talk s***, which was a clear issue for amorim and ten hag

Give it to the set piece coach like Brentford and Arsenal did

  • underachiever

Still the most mindboggling thing about all this is that he took over the team 4 points behind top four, parked them in fourteenth, averaging about like one point per game, but he'll get fired for opening his mouth to the board. make it make sense man

Our board are idiots, can’t believe we kept him over the summer

Iraola would be interesting. To me he’s probably the most exciting coach in the Prem as of late so I’d be intrigued to see how he does at a bigger stage. Not sure if it would work out though, current United does perhaps seem like too big of a bite, especially in current atmosphere. Would like to keep a close eye on his progress though, no matter where he goes next.

Still kinda inconsistent for a big job like this I guess but I do enjoy his playstyle quite a lot. Usually couldn’t give less s*** about a club like Bournemouth but he actually made me tune in for their games quite often in the past year. Back then choosing between which matches to watch seeing Bournemouth would be a straight up no from me, totally different these days they’re kinda my go-to if the opposition is at least somewhat entertaining.

  • More "United DNA" dross for f*** knows how long then

  • Fans/Board:

    Rinse and repeat

  • It’s so strange how fast the Glasner news is moving. What’s even the point of waiting until the end of the season if we already have a replacement mere hours after sacking Amorim?

Are we genuinely not going to do any due diligence again?

  • Glasner
