could be relatively affordable and don’t think there’s gonna be any crazy bidding war for him as of now. would leave you lot with a lot less pressure and more room to negotiate the second signing - ideally try anything possible to get Anderson unless he’s already gone to City by then, if that fails, wait how the Tchouameni/Rodri situation pans out…. at least one of Baleba/Joao Gomes/Alex Scott should be always there still if any of the previous scnearios fail

Big worry about the midfield signings is we sign yet more players who lack penetrative passing. Mobility is super important as is defensive duels and with Casemiro gone we’ll need to replace that, but we’ll just as intently need to replace his progressive passing and vision… can’t have yet another season of Fernandes being the only forward passer in the team.

valid point and question is whether he would have the required service from others in united like in barca & bayern (probably not besides bruno)…. could be an issue definitely but i still think his positioning & finishing would guarantee a few important goals at the very least. worth it for a year imo & then can move him on to MLS like Ibra
