Tonali for 100m wrap it up

Seen some people say he's like a slightly better Fred

Yeah that’s what I thought as well, but haven’t seen him play enough to judge tbh

Same don't know anything about him lol
£34m for the Ugarte replacement, we can live with it
Now let’s cop the key midfield targets
this was one of his last games for atalanta
think he’ll be a solid squad option
https://twitter.com/wendyscamm1938/status/2061932809342591007from my research now:
jack of all trades
Has legs & good physicality
Good work rate (in v high percentile of distance covered in champions league games)
good (more conservative) passing. (also better long passing accuracy than any of our current midfield)
Can play 6 or 8
good at carrying up the field
v good at reading passing lanes from opponents
not as good tackling / duels as case but still not bad
has touches of flare & moments of brilliance (not sure how often since I’ve barely watched him & could be coached not to take risks often)
Only missed 10 games in his career to injury
weakness:
Seems to lose concentration sometimes akin to dalot - can affect passing, touch etc. again not sure how often this happens from my small sample size
First touch seems to be lackadaisical sometimes which can land him in trouble
remains to be seen how he will adapt to PL football. big change in pace
Apparently this Middle East war is saving INEOS from going bankrupt giftarticle.ft.com/giftarticle/actions/redeem/86a1df5d-4f14-4e7e-ad2c-50719ea8c922
Yall thought Netanyahu was the one pulling Trumps strings, meanwhile it’s been the Big Rat all along…
Smart signing, 34m for an experienced CL midfielder, there’s no rush in getting the other 2 midfielders, I expect more transfers to happen in July

I like Tonali, but I’m not sure myself whether he’s the right fit

not too bad, worst case he'll still be better than Ugarte anyway
We really need fullbacks, no way Shaw is playing every single match with UCL footy next season

Lewis Hall pending
Decent signing for the price
YASSSSSSSSS
NAPOLI READ THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS ABOUT THE OBLIGATION TO BUY
This is such a W it feels like a new signing
Lewis Hall pending
Would be such a great signing, great player great age, could be our left back for the next 10 years
Hopefully Newcastle is willing to let him go for an ok price
Dalot and Maz both just not good enough to start, but neither is bad enough to shift quickly. Don’t think we’re getting a new right back this summer, but probably a priority the one after that.
Idk why but just from his face I can tell Ederson is a sloppy passer under zero pressure à la Fred and Case. Maybe it’s a Brazilian thing
