No club strategy no matter the dire situation the player market is in, should have only 1 viable transfer option like a Mbuemo.

Even if you want to focus solely on prem proven players you should still be willing to veer off in a different lane as a safety measure

That is a death sentence for recruitment and for negotiations. That was my sole point

He was right. Club just got lucky that mbeumo chose “only United” & we still had to pay the fee they wanted
