The thing is what are the club waiting for? Who are they actually contacting to takeover? Baffles why he hasn’t been sacked yet, just feels like poor planning
Surely you don’t want Brendan Rodgers over Ole

I was asking what are the club waiting for, like why are they delaying his sacking. It’s over his managerial run it’s so obvious. Would I take Rodgers? Over Ole of course, Rodgers a far superior coach than Ole and tbh Rodgers is a good coach. Played very good football at Swansea, almost won Liverpool the league, plays youth and attacking football. Done wonders at Leicester. Has PL experience. Seems like a great candidate, despite the Liverpool connections. Think he’d want to join us too
Probably the best candidate to get now mid season. Unless United have an interim lined up

I think it's just weird, difficult timing.
With Mou the decision was a lot easier. We were well off 4th place points-wise, the dressing atmosphere had beyond deteriorated, the fans were 100% against him, and he was picking fights with the board.
The board clearly didn't want Conte. He has his pros and cons no doubt, it's understandable. Is it the right decision? Hugely debateable.
If we are to believe that the 3 big candidates are Ten Hag, Poch and Rodgers, which seems extremely plausible, then the former 2 aren't attainable till the summer (possibly). The latter is attainable now - but I can only hope they're thinking 'well yeah Rodgers is gonna be an improvement no doubt, but does that mean a title or a CL?' I don't think the answer is yes. I'm hoping they see similarly. Cause if not the time to sack Ole was this international break - we've basically got a game every 3 days till late January now.
Ole at least hasn't fully burnt bridges yet. The results are swingy but 4th place remains a solid possibility. And the dressing room morale, while probably low, doesn't seem resigned. Portions of the fans are booing but others still applaud. That's how I imagine they are seeing it.
If it does go further off a cliff then yeah they gotta go for an interim. But again that's a massive risk at an awkward time. Especially with the lack of quality candidates out there.

All my votes fit with the majority
We have a worldclass team and It's just frustrating and annoying that every possible scenario feels like we will end up wasting this season whether its getting Rodgers or Keeping Ole or getting an interim

We do not have a world class midfield

Give Pep Van De Beek, Bruno and Matic and he would dominate most teams with that midfield

Maybe for 1-2 matches but Matic can hardly play 90 mins imo
And personally I’ve not seen anything from VDB in the Prem to make me think he’s world class

He wouldn't need to play 90 mins anyways when half of the time we will be comfortably ahead of the opponent. But this isn't really my point. We've got a world class team. Being short of a worldclass DM doesn't change that

It does when a DM is a key role to the system. Which sure, you could say Ole out, he got no tactics but I think it’s a little more nuanced than that.
I think regardless of who is in charge a starting DM must be bought in January

Ok bro. We don't have a worldclass team
Definitely agree that Rodgers would be a better coach but also don't think he'd win us a trophy any time soon.
Considering that up until this season the main criticism of Ole was that he doesn't win trophies I feel like Rodgers would be a smaller step forward than the other options.
The only issue there is we either stick with Ole until the end of the season or bring in an interim, feel like an interim manager would be better but who tf knows with this club.
if Moyes wasn’t already a failed United manager people would definitely call for him to be in charge
United need someone to help us fluke the Champions League, that should be the only goal. No more long term baby s***

Zidane then
Zidane comes in for the rest of the season.
Maguire gets dropped.
We fluke our way to the Champions League.
Ten Hag comes in the summer and sells Maguire.
We're dead already Kev
I love this because Ole's record vs Pep is like one of the best in Europe
