Tuchel and Klopp are on fraud watch if this guy really birthed them
I suspect that the German school of football relies heavily on PEDs for all the mindless running they do
This style of play is s***. It works in Germany cause there's so much space but you can't be rushing passes and being too direct

This geezer seems to prefer mindless long balls into the keeper's hands

this style of play doesn't work when you have so many individualistic players. we have so many passion merchant man, not footballers.
Which month/year do we think United will stop playing this type of struggleball?

Like 2 weeks
Hold accountable for what?
For not being up to it and causing further chaos in the dressing room via his agent and his actions on the bench

It’s just a style of football that sounds great in theory but won’t work outside of a league where everyone else plays insanely high lines and every manager is a younger coach who thinks he’s the next best thing like it’s Football Manager.
Did you see Rangnick’s comments after the Burnley game where he admitted that the bottom 3 in the PL would never be the bottom 3 in Bundesliga?
He’s just yet another manager who has the right ideas and seems to know how to speak about football correctly but won’t be able to put his words into action at the top level.
Also, his reach to Klopp/Tuchel is pretty exaggerated. His biggest student in football is probably Ralph Hassenhuttl. A lower midtable PL manager

But what you posted is seemingly consensus that he is working hard and has a great mentality.
Unless you think Ragnick, who's been nothing short of brutally honest, is lying, and Ole was lying.
The guy wants to play. I hardly think he sowing chaos by looking for an out at this point in his career or having his agent speak in and around transfer windows.

2023 January
It's strange because there's no way Rangnick isn't telling them to press or isn't capable of communicating his style of play effectively (might have been the case under Ole) but at the same time why would the players just ignore his instructions?
That said, choosing to play Mctom-Matic and persisting with this 4-2-2-2 and then complaining about getting overloaded in midfield is on Rangnick. No point playing 2 strikers if you're never getting the ball to them because the midfield is constantly overrun.

I think that’s fair and maybe I’m just reading too far into it but something seems off.
I’ve only seen 2-3 decent performances in the (albeit) limited appearances he’s made. The agents comments during a difficult spell in combination with causing a scene on the bench when Sancho was coming on, really irked me.
That being said, after todays performance things may change but Ralf’s approaching the end of his first month in charge and he still seems miles away from the first team, other than an average 90 mins vs Young Boys.
