Exciting times lads
Hopefully heās backed financially and systematically while being given the time to succeed
2 weeks of 'coming soon' rumours.
this is the least smooth appointment. seems like the woodwards and glazers dont want to give ten hag control over key stuff.
To be fair, it would not be fair to Ajax for Ten Hag to just announce out of the blue heās joining a different club when their season is all but over. We would be pissed too if we were still in contention for the prem and Pogba all of a sudden said heās going to PSG in two months.
Sorry but this dumbass DDG slander has to stop, you actually think De Gea couldnāt pass a ball to our right-back like AWB wouldnāt pass it back to him in 2 seconds or Dalot wouldnāt give it right back to an opposition player⦠stop blaming the goalkeeper for us not being able to play good football on the rest of the pitch.

Isnāt it worse to have the maybe coming maybe not hanging over both Ajax and United for a month tho. If it was announced like nagelsman to Bayern was mid season, it was easy no extended drama and rumors. literally 1 day and everyone moved on.

De Gea is an outdated goalkeeper who wonāt succeed in a modern system. The highest paid ākeeper in the world who canāt make his national team over Brentford and Brightonās no.1ās, ffs.
Thereās a lot of baggage to clear out/players to replace already, but De Gea will be a big one to replace for Ten Hag sooner or later.
Thankfully we won't be in the UCL next season so Ten Hag can either win the Europa League or bin it off to focus on a good league finish

Nobody cares about Leipzig, they are not one of the biggest clubs in Germany and they didnāt compete for anything really. Ajax a way different club, not comparable imo.

I stuck with the Chelsea Madrid....game on via Mount
why does Madrid have like the entire lower seat area covered off?
Real actually cares a little bit about their fans so theyāve been renovating their ground for the last few years

Yep. Would be very surprised if Henderson is not given a shot right off the bat

Henderson is not good enough, havenāt yāall seen him play last season?

You would have been saying the exact same thing about De Gea in his very first season.
And even with the few mistakes he did make (far less than you're making it out to be imo - and ignoring the calamities De Gea was making) he still managed to keep more clean sheets overall in less games.
His strengths - coming off his line, distribution - are just simply more vital than De Gea's better shot stopping. And our whole team improves when those aspects are emphasised. 10 wins, 1 loss and 2 draws during his run of league games last season.
Give him time, just as we did for De Gea during his first season. It's an incredibly big step up from playing in the championship and with Sheffield to suddenly being United's no. 1. A few mistakes last season should be expected. The pressure and nerves must have been immense. Would never hold that against someone.
Cmon mate don't whip out this stat
