Getting played would be to just cave and put up whatever Barca are demanding.
A signing like that is always gonna take time. Especially with his contract complexity. Doesn't mean we should give up just because 'oh we're about to leave on tour'. And it doesn't mean we should just buy a plan B option that Ten Hag doesn't really rate.

Well isn’t the best option to wait rn. Barca want a stupid fee and for us to cover wages -> I don’t want to get f***ed over. It’s a bad precedent.
