Ronny cheaply losing the ball in midfield five seconds before a De Gea howler off a pearoller from 20 yards

    Leading by example

    Our two best players apparently

  • Aug 13, 2022

Absolute f***ing shambles from top to bottom.

Any club worth their weight would’ve shifted De Gea years ago and yet here we are and supposed to believe he’s one of our best players.

Yet again the 37 year old who wants to leave put more effort in than anyone else. Absolutely f***ing abysmal.

Just give him 400m to spend

Danny my friend, I lowkey think this club are broke. Not flat out can’t afford our next meal levels, but “we’re not going to give you the money you need to pump into this team” type of broke.

We lost 6 players on a free transfer this summer. This included very high earners like Pogba, Cavani, Mata, and Lingard. That should’ve seen us go for a LOT of activity in the market. Instead we’ve replaced them with 1 free transfer, a bargain bucket LB, and a midget CB the manager specifically begged for.

None of those were positions of priority.

Watching him at Arsenal, tbh he would’ve been the perfect player for us.

My theory is that the Glazers make money "available" for X big money player like Sancho in 2020 or FDJ this year, knowing that there's a high chance the deal falls apart and then they can pocket most of the money. Essentially I think it's in their interest to hire people that don't know how to negotiate

At this point these type of statements are made by closet Scousers.

  • the Glazers do not have the ambition to be the best football club in the world

I’m just watching the Barca line up and I’m really seeing how much a good director can change a team. He’s a son of a b**** that Laporta but he at least gets things done for his club I’m the transfer market, if you look at their team now and a year ago. John Murtough and Richard-Arnold have been horrible thus far. And this goes back to the Glazers as well tbh, can’t see them getting sacked till the Glazers are out.

I’m in awe of what Arsenal and Barca have been able to do the last 2 seasons. For Arsenal it’s a perfect blend of technical, aggression, speed, leadership, and all are young. Martinelli, smith Rowe, Saka, saliba, and I could name 5 others. Barca too good development still and made right signings + frees all summer. Idk how it’s mid august and we’ve yet to spend money on a midfielder. This season is going to be so long.

Would also explain why they have zero interest in actually getting a footballing brain in as a DoF/filling the club up with people who know what they’re doing from the infrastructure positions

Like I’m watching Kessie and I’m just thinking about how we were not even interested in him
