probably because every LB is out. but i can guarantee awb does not get into the england team this year.
why would he get in tho. walker and trent are better. I guarantee bissaka doesnt get in as well barring injury. what does England even have to do with this lol - bissaka has never even played for the team.

Not sure why England call up is the new gold standard but I have a feeling that'll age poorly
willing to give him time to grow. shaw had his shot.
either way convo is mute, shaw isnt going anywhere.
grow what? anyone thinking he will really become good enough on the ball is just wrong

even trippier is ahead. wan bissaka is atrocious on the ball and thats why he cant get in

we're just talking hypotheticals mate. im not a scout or player development coach and neither are you. hes 22 and trajectory is for young motivated players to keep improving. to make a definitive statement about someone right now is a waste of time and I dont root against our players from improving thats a weird way to 'support' a team.

When Marc Jurado breaks through

Mason Mount isn't better than Jack Grealish and he just called up?

im not rooting against him improving. i am just saying he wont be good enough on the ball. 22 is old enough to be good enough on the ball at this level. if you look like awb on the ball now its too late

southgate said grealish is competing with the other forwards not the midfielders tbh
grealish lost out because of greenwood according to southgate
a let down if this is what we trot out on September 19th. to finish third and get to 3 semi's ... not do any business is disgusting.
i agree. need 2-3 signings. i don't know what the f*** they are doing.

southgate has it out for grealish tbf. he is england's most creative midfield player and still doesn't get picked

he explained he doesnt see grealish as an 8 and is competing with the forwards
going by that he shouldnt be ahead of any of them

yeah. spurs will be fired up under mou and have brought in a couple of guys already with Doherty on the way.
Chelsea had the best transfer window I can remember if they get kai havertz. have addressed every area of weakness except goalkeeper which I bet they'll try to get somebody in before window closes. and pulisic was unstoppable after the restart so theres that.
city replaced sane with torres for half the price we'll pay for brooks on October 5th. +maybe Messi lol.
Liverpool didnt need to do much and can rely on youth to come through for depth.
Arsenal idk but Arteta seems competent.
thoughts?
With the way Chelsea and Arsenal are moving, not sure if we get top four with that team
Wan-Bissaka gets way too much slander, what he lacks going forwards he more than makes up for defensively.
He did lose focus for that second Sevilla goal though

thats not how it works
he is DETRIMENTAL on the ball. what he does 1v1 defensively doesnt make up for that, why do people keep saying that
you attack and defend as a team

Chelsea for sure, but are arsenal up to anything? havent seen anybody come in really. I rate spurs above them
Some of you lot are way too harsh at always going at Shaw.
Too quick to forget him suffering a major leg break at just 20 years old.
This was the most expensive teenager in the world at the time, British, and regarded very highly. Its understandable the club wanna keep faith.
Not to mention how many s*** systems he's had to play in the last few years with similarly underperforming players and managers coming in and out.
He's had two solid back-to-back seasons now finally. Playing nearly every game. And won player of the season 18-19. He's only 25, and he's shown a big effort to improve his fitness. Give him a break.

Think Arteta will get found out this year

yeah he hasn't been the same since the injury. he was solid before that, but time to move on. I disagree with any notion that he had 2 solid back to back seasons.
also ill never defend somebody that is that fat getting paid 200k a week.
You can minus two for a double leg fracture.
He was still picking up wages
