Why is Bowen still in the England squad and not Jadon? West ham are terrible, and he’s done nothing all season either. Don’t get it.

Southgate sticks with his favourites, unfortunately. How else do you explain Maguire and Shaw keeping their places?

I must say Dalot has been proving me wrong this season, if he could just improve his defensive awareness I think he’d be class.

Southgate is holding back a generational wealth of talent from achieving full potential. This should be the first team:

    Pickford
    TAA-Stones-Maguire-Shaw
    Rice-Jude
    Sancho-Foden-Sterling
    Kane

Here’s why: 4231 gets the most out of the talent.
TAA is getting a lot of heat but in a back 4 I like him better than James. I don’t watch enough none top 4 teams to know who can take maguires spot so he’s there by default. Rice Jude compliment each other well that should be set in stone. Sterling and Kane are certainties as well. Sancho if he has a good October needs to have that right wing spot so that sterling can be on the left and they can rotate wings. If not Sancho then grealish or rashford and put sterling on right. Foden too classy not to play from the start.

Anyway Southgate will f*** it up and go cautious as usual and it’ll be a QF penalty loss after a sluggish 1-1 120 mins.

At the same time he's restored the belief and the feeling for England fans bc the last two tournaments we've actually done well. If you think about England in the last 20 years this is easily the best we've been.

I do think the euros were our chance though because most of the big teams really weren't that good.
