watched the pilot but it didnt grab me so i never continued

so many moments that are just sooo infuriating to watch, such a badly executed plot

one of the worst .....WORST SHOWS ive ever laid eyes on.
the mythology is whatever the writers feel like adding and i promise it isnt much. the characters do whatever their emotions tell them to do. the main character ben is a literal c*ck. he never stands up for himself unless the script calls for it and even then he does the most minimum amount. he disobeys everyones wishes and consistently gets everyone in more trouble. absolutely hate this LOST rip off.
its like they tried to make a This Is Us/lost combo but failed dramatically in the first season and just keep going. theres no rhyme or reason to any action in the show. the mythology is going no where. character decisions make little to no sense. the "rescue" of the flight passengers is so stupid. how are a good chunk of them pieces of s***? oh cuz the show calls for it.

with LOST there was consistency. by the second season opener we got some islanders off the island, the discovery of the others, the exploration of the hatch. the mythology of the hatch and the fail safe. in manifest....we get NOTHING.

Overall it's the best worst show of all time
Its what it has been since episode 1. And if you couldn't recognize that from the onset, and went through 4 seasons, and then are ultimately upset about what was always there, I'm not sure what to tell you. Tbh, it begs to question how valuable their critique is when they're not able to see clearly what is obviously there from the beginning.
