Absolute masterpiece and one of my all time faves. Doesn’t get mentioned anywhere near as much as it should
Yup, "Me Against The World" is the definitive 2Pac album. That album is the epitome of who Tupac was as an artist.
Although, I will say that the Makaveli album was the best version him though. That was 2Pac at his absolute peak, as far as lyrically, flow-wise, and delivery-wise. He was only getting better before he got killed.

Amazing album. It doesn't get talked about as much as it should because it's just old. When Pac IS talked about, he gets praised. But this s*** happens all of the time. Newer generations come in and eventually the older artists are phased out of a lot of discussions.
It's going to be soo weird as I grow older to see people like Drake, Wayne etc barely get mentioned. When was the last time we had a thread on LL Cool J? Looking back he was like the Jay Z of his day. Rakim was like a Nas.
Anyways, it's a masterpiece and so were All EyeZ On Me and Makaveli. It's such a shame that we never got see what he did after those tremendous string of albums.
Gets more love than his first two albums which definitely don’t get any love outside the hits
this album is a spiritual experience
Brooooo that’s what I’m saying I’m high as s*** listening to historical peace of art as we speak

if ur high that s*** has a window straight into your soul fam
One helluva album. This is literally Shakespearean in a contemporary mid 90s Hip Hop lens. It's also feels like a Blues record too(Latimore vibes). I always wondered what it be like if a country artist had beats like these lol
Fav songs
Death Around The Corner
Lord Knows
F*** The World
Me Against The World
So Many Tears
Outlaw

His s*** on Still I Rise & Thug Life Vol 1 follows more his MATW style than the AEOM style and some of his best songs are on those two side projects of his
Crazy he was able to do two entirely seperate group projects at this peak along with a double album and then 7day theory plus the statt of one nation right before he died
Like 4 to 5 albums worth of official music in the span of a year n a half
Masterful record, top to bottom.
Personally I rank 7 Day Theory a little higher, but this is incredibly close behind that.
Overall impeccable discography when he was alive really, and tbh some of the posthumous joints are underrated too (Still I Rise especially, but R U Still Down has classics too)

Pac was telling his community to get their s*** together way before Jermaine.
Listening to this album rn. Definitely his most cohesive album and always an amazing listen
