I remember this one from the leak thread, still sounding just as good. Album is definitely shaping up to be a nice change of direction.

Also who is doing these videos?! They are very good

    Thanks so much man.

Both shot/directed by Sasco and myself. I edited Idling and Sasco did WORLDSTAR. The textures he layered are so f***in sick.

One more single + video down the line, with a familiar but different director altogether..

When you mentioned before about a familiar director I was genuinely predicting Duncecap! Especially with your first video being akin to his usual style with the lyrics displayed. Anyway, very cool to see you running in such circles, big fan of his music and videos.

Track is another home-run, Sasco is one hell of a producer.

4 full listens so far. It's damn good, each album going from strength to strength.

Still just most jealous of Sasco's production skills, everything so layered and detailed, so cohesive. Imagine getting a beat like 98 till Infinity in your inbox But you kill every track, you're a rapper man. It's what it is.

    Favourite tracks so far:
    98 till Infinity
    Clout Spells (beat incredible)
    Disc Comfort (indeed, very comforting)
    Idling Nowhere
    Ethical Hacking
Spirit Ballistics (I haven't decided who had the best verse, I think it's Hester.. but then there's RAMA.. and then you.. I don't know. Beat is amazing)
EMP (I love stuff like this)
Telepathy (beautiful f***ing track, beautiful f***ing beat, beautiful f***ing singing my g)
Dawn of Time (too too hard, also you got a Defcee verse!!!)
Algorhythm/Power Lines (too too hard also)
Off the Ontological Strength (makes my head sway slowly, then fast)
    Meditation App (you know)
The Whole World (give me a sorrowful closing track all day long)

I did not intend to pick so many tracks. Keep it up. I need to buy the album on Bandcamp, I forgot, I will.

I feel like ELUCID would really respect this album.

Man thank you so much for all this 🤛🖤

Totally agree about Sasco’s prod.. s*** is truly next level. Especially wild considering a lot of the beats are samples he essentially made, like instruments he actually played and reprogrammed. So sick. Also great track picks! My fav joint is probably Algorhythm/Power Lines or Meditation App…

Much love for supporting as always bro, and always here for your next drop, which is hopefully in the works? 🤞

That information comes as no surprise, his production strikes me as the mad genius type.

And no problem, always. I'm sure I will release something again some day, though I haven't been working on anything in any focused/dedicated sense. The occasional rough beats and verses here and there, and random instrumental doodles. Just need to package it all together when I get the urge.

yo @marcusg f***ing finally I'm sitting down with this one proper and I'm mad impressed and proud

I legit feel bad I've been so out of the loop with lyrical rap the past 3 years distracted by my various other rabbit holes to not follow your evolution more closely, cause what you delivered here is insane. like I still remember doing the brass podcast with you and here you are legit working yourself up there...

ig take it w a grain of salt cause I rly haven't been super in the loop with backwoods and the underground in general, but this easily the most I've been into a new album in this vein in ages.

big shoutout to Sasco for sure, these beats are atmospheric, dark, jazzy and glitchy, all of which I'm a sucker for, and Sasco got the skill to keep it consistently engaging. tbh especially the jazz angle is super refreshing to me here, it's not just the same old work with loops but has an actual live, free jazz feel to it - also decidedly not the by now very tired trend of "warm" jazz rap, much more interesting. I'm super impressed how seamlessly the electronics and drum work integrates itself into that. actually curious about the process there.

the more ppl you work with the more I see the vision in the types of beats you pick. we know u got taste, but u also have the creative angle to curate yourself an identifiable sound identity, without being a producer yourself. I respect that a lot.

need more listens/ prob a readalong to dig into lyrics better since I'll only pick up bits just by listening, but your mic presence is all the way there. I get the sense that by now you found your voice, and know it too. the few hook-ish moments there are also all work flawlessly.

just some rambling thoughts I'm jotting down here during my first listen here but yh I hope you're adequately proud of this one.

(Late response--my bad!) In this interview Sasco goes into some detail about sample sources, if you're interested in learning more ab that: open.spotify.com/episode/4NpyxPXDpf4DZOBW3o6JNy?si=c5b8da1618ec4539

And I hear you! We're waiting patiently for every SEERSHIP drop my man

Yo apologies on the late reply. Thank you so much dude! The close listen/thoughts mean a lot to me. Especially appreciate the comment on identifiable sound identity... I feel like I'm still very much a work in progress in that regard... but yo much love man, Means a lot coming from you.
