Good Time is the superior film of the 3 imo. Pattinson really did that.

One thing I’m still confused by is the cop chasing scene.

The uncle and cop “arrest” Marty but essentially was trying to scare him and let him go. The uncle takes the money and says let’s go have lunch with your mom.

So Marty goes to his room to change off, he runs off and then now all sudden the cop wants to chase after him and calls for back up. Why?

They let him go, the uncle got back his money (which wasn’t even his) they were only trying to scare him. So why would Marty leaving the house make a bunch of cops chase down the city after him?

Josh doesnt believe in the term “anti hero” but he sure knows how to create them.

I’m sure everyone will say Connie is the biggest POS. It’s crazy cus he cares about his brother so much but is also the reason he’s in trouble.

He hooks up with a little girl but is it because he’s attracted to her or because he needs to distract her. It’s actually more f***ed up when you think about it, you’re so scared of getting caught that you’ll hook up with a teenager? Me personally I would’ve just threatened her to not say s*** but maybe that’s the less interesting way to write the scene?

Also using black face to rob a bank, which Safdies did say was meant to be commentary on racism so the black face was on purpose. But at the same time he’s not robbing banks to buy d**** or dumb s***, he’s trying to get a better life for him and his bro.

With all that said, we can pick Connie based off what the films showcase BUT would Marty or Howie hook up with a 16 year old out of “desperation”??? Do we know for a fact these other characters wouldn’t go as low as Connie if in a certain situation?
