Pretty wild It works so well in the movie, when the lady has to go in the back to get more money the tension is crazy. I love the scene afterwards when Connie is hyping up his brother too, Rob's performance is so good

That was my first time watching good time and I noticed from uncut gems to good time to Marty supreme they all give this underwhelming ending.

Literally saw Good Time for the first time last night. These guys have really been doing the same movie for 3 movies now. I can’t take another manipulative guy with a chaotic pace. There’s no depth to their films, they’re purely aesthetic to me.

it’s a wonder how no one that i know has made the parallel to last years the brutalist and how both films greatly capture how chasing “the american dream” can eat us alive. also feel like marty and laszlo are quite similar as well

i can get why someone would be underwhelmed. i thought marty was great but tbh maybe my least fav ending
