I wasn’t excited at all for this movie but just got out and really enjoyed it tbh
Made me really like Natasha as a character and was excited to see her and her sister back in more films...but then on the drive home I remembered she was sacrificed :jordancry: I was expecting her to pop out at the end credits after iron mans snap but it makes sense now lol

This was way better than I expected. Florence was f***ing great, also the lackluster villian didnt end up mattering much tbh. Cuz the whole film really was about closure, which it did a brilliantly job conveying.
Pacing is a bit fast off first view
I thought it was fast paced, yea. Mostly in a good way (the movie never dragged) but sometimes they were talking fast and I didn’t know wtf someone said, especially with the accents. Granted I didn’t see it in IMAX so the volume in my theater wasn’t great. Plus I was stoned.
I def recommend seeing this in IMAX if possible.
Ngl I’ll probably end up watching this on Disney+ over theaters. Just my family’s preference but can’t wait to watch this weekend

The aspect ratio transition for the final sequence
might be better than captain marvel.
ain't no way ain't no f***ing way

maybe. i need to watch it again to decide where I place it.
for me when it comes to the solo character films (excluding guardians and civil war because those are more like true ensemble/group films), I would go something like this:
top tier: Ragnarok, Iron Man
second tier: Thor, Dr Strange
then my third tier would be this group of Captain Marvel, Ant Man, Winter Soldier, Black Panther and Black Widow. and all of these are really solid and similarly enjoyable to me. hard to rank them exactly
wait i’m so confused, premier access is $30 dollars 😂 a movie ticket where i am is $10

Disney making you pay pay to watch at home.
Premier Access is only worth it if you’re splitting the cost with at least 5 or more people
Other than that a damn IMAX ticket is cheaper than Premier

Not having winter soldier as top tier is lunacy
