I'm on board with the theory that Andrew or Tobey's Spiderman dies in the end and Tom ultimately chooses to be Spiderman(movie is all about Tom's character making a choice to be Peter Parker or Spiderman, can't be both) in the universe of the Spiderman that dies.

This is gonna sound crazy but hear me out:

Peter decides NOT to tell anyone his identity this time after the spell. You know, not repeating past mistakes/Peter Parker guilt/narrative conflict sorta thing. We see a serious strain on Peter and Ned’s relationship, maybe even culminating in a tense and dramatic argument/breakup scene between the two. Norman being his manipulative slimy self takes advantage of this and starts to convert Ned, which will either lead to him becoming the Hobgoblin in the third act of the film (I doubt it, there’s already so much going on already) or a setup for the fourth MCU Spidey film ie Harry’s entire arc throughout Spider-Man 2

• Goblin kills Ned, which prompts MCU Peter to nearly kill Goblin
• Strange enlists Tobey and Andrew to help fight the SS after they mollywhop Tom in the second act

Based on the leaks I have a feeling the plot will feel eerily similar to Endgame and will be nitpicked upon release because of it

One of the other really reputable leakers says he didn’t know who died because they filmed multiple death scenes.

Original rumor was that MCU Peter lost a “father figure” and that this was gonna be Happy’s final MCU appearance.

Zendaya saying she wasn’t sure if she’d be coming back lead people to say she’d be the death

And dramatically is seems like MJ makes the most sense if it’s something that pushes Peter “across the line”
