It doesn't make sense to me - so Hardy/Venom was sent to the MCU, to just have them sent back in their next scene and have a piece of the symbiote left behind?

So Peter will have his true symbiote story-line, which I like, but it doesn't jive with the whole Hardy vs Holland thing that they've been teasing
