What’s Ms. Marvel about?

Pakistani teen, Kamala Khan, is a superhero fanatic and is a stan of Captain Marvel in particular. In the comics, she comes in contact with the Terrigen Mist which activates her innate Inhuman powers. Those powers give her the ability to stretch her body (similar to Mr. Fantastic) and embiggen which allows her to grow her fist to a large size or become more or less a giant. The comic deals with her struggles as a teen and deals with her image issues while she learns to accept herself.

In the show, it seems like her bracelet will be the source of her powers and instead of them being stretchy, they’re more like energy constructs. I assume she’ll deal with similar issues but not much is know about that yet.

Kamala Khan will move on from this show to The Marvels alongside Captain Marvel and Monica Rambeau from Wandavision in 2023.

They really got a MCU stan to play a stan in the MCU

wish Robert Eggers was directing Werewolf by Night but we all know Feige would never let that man cook properly

I don't know but I suspect that's the last type of thing that eggers would want to do

It could always be better but I've really enjoyed about half the projects they've come out with over the last while feels like we're finally getting to the interesting era to me

Tru but could you imagine if Feige actually let a creative director cook like Denis, Eggers or Edgar Wright?

expecting alot of “story mid but loved iman as kamala khan want to see more of her” type reactions tbh

Edgar Wright director of Baby Driver? would be some suicide squad/army of the dead tier cringe

Denis and Eggers far too established of artistes to imagine them doing MCU at this point
