It was a piece of OG Groot planted but it essentially created a new Groot. Doesn't have any of the memories of the other or anything

Mantis was cute but that was lame as hell

The dialogue was very childlike

I mean the rest of the Guardians will get a lottt of focus in part 3, same as they did in the first 2 films

Makes sense to dedicate a special episode to a character that has barely any character development

Gives them more depth
