i think people are setting themselves up for disappointment with the whole "luke level cameo"

i think she just meant it's gonna be in the same vein i.e. someone who we already know appears in the last episode to wrap it up

    Right? I think so too

And she didn’t even say it, the interviewer asked like is there a cameo that is luke skywalker level and she said yeah shes not gonna be like ‘nah nothing THAT exciting’

    Why?

Just finished the episode By far the best one yet

I don't think that officially brought mutants into the MCU, way too big of a deal to include at the midway point of a series a lot of people don't even have access to. Also someone ITT said this, but very rarely are fan predictions correct/better than what actually ends up happening, so I'm expecting some kind of plot twist involving the villain/Xavier. Think it just confirms that the Fox universe is officially another universe for now but mutants will be officially brought in somehow in Dr Strange 2

Vision and Wanda arguing and then standing in the same flight pose with one bent knee ready to throw hands was so dope and insane and scary :damn:

Paul Bettany really getting to show some range, I love the show for this

LMAOOO damn now I want that so bad.

They already got the neighbour too, Agnes can come in like this

Now I NEED a Seinfeld inspired episode Could even come up with a MCU version of those terms they coin in the show like "Close talker"

Except she didn’t know he was at the door/even in Westview.

Whoever is creating it, just recast the part. I don’t think it’s anything big like that.

I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s a nod to how sitcoms would recast a part and just pay it off like it’s nothing.

Nah gear up loser, we heading to the multiverse!

So you’re happy to continue using actors that played those characters from 20 years ago, instead of getting new actors and a new story that fits more with the MCU?

That Fox s*** is played out.

Multiverse otw whether you like it or not

When this was just a thought, they weren’t thinking of adding Fox characters. I don’t think they were when this was announced..

Sony started that s*** with the new Spider-Man movie.

Marvel then had to work around it, to make it work.

pretty cringe for you to be making these massive presumptions on how they plan on utilizing the multiverse for the MCU.

Just because I’m not jumping out of joy for some fan service s***?

I f*** with the MCU but bringing back old actors from a different franchise just to say it’s a Multi universe is pretty cringe to me.

Marvel was going a different direction with the multi universe until Sony had to copy DC

I mean the Fox rights went to Disney in March 2019, Marvel announced the Disney+ projects and Doctor Strange 2 in July 2019. It’s completely within the realm of possibility that they worked them in on purpose

They didn’t have to use Peters as Quicksilver and they did for a reason

Sony didn’t make them do this

And it’s not like the Fox characters will become a permanent part of the MCU, there is definitely going to be a new incarnation of the X-Men with new actors.

Whatever, happens I’m sure Marvel will make it work.

Yeah dumbass, fan service can be great if it’s utilized in the story well.

It isn’t an inherently bad thing like you’re portraying it to be.

What happened in WandaVision has NOTHING to do with Sony tho.

I could see how Sony did what they did but even then, Spider-Man 3 was supposed to come out before Doctor Strange 2 before the pandemic hit. DS2 and WandaVision were always supposed to deal with the Multiverse, Spider-Man 3 was likely added into the saga later

What they were cooking up for the Multi universe had nothing to do with bringing back actors from different franchises, until Sony saw what DC was doing.

Whatever, we’ll see how Marvel handles this.

I’m just not a fan of it.
