Feel like with the MCU since the characters brand is so tied to the actors themselves, Recasting major roles makes it difficult for them although I think they definitely should in this case

It’s like since Majors has a bad rep now so does Kang the character

Would have been a huge downgrade. Don't see him pulling off a villain role all that well.
