Dam. Well it probably does make the most sense to just reboot. Charlie deserves better

It's the most likely option but there's still a chance

If Disney is able to snag the streaming rights to the shows tho (like they were able to with Clone Wars after Season 6) then there's a good chance

Why they got the crips in Runaways? This s*** weird

So Amazon is going to house the SUMC series

  • Sep 3, 2020

Sources close to the situation caution that the complex talks are still in early stages and there are major issues that need to be resolved. Some of them have to do with a complicated web of multi-platform rights for the various characters. Noone would comment but I hear the proposed suite of Marvel series is expected to land on a linear platform first before heading to Amazon for streaming.

Might get blocked by Disney depending on how the Spider-Man TV rights work

They are announcing way too many series (and milking Spidey as much as they can). I wouldn't be surprised if some got cancelled.

I mean, people love the Avengers. But they announced too many.

Most people don't even know some of these new superheros unless they really into comics.

general public didnt know any marvel superhero besides like iron man and hulk before the mcu started

these shows will do fine, just like the movies with the new superheroes (like the eternals and shang-chi)

It's just weird how they announce so much stuff. They did the same with Star Wars. Even shows no one asked for.

i personally feel like it will work with the MCU better than with star wars honestly

the mcu is supposed to feel like a universe, the movies did that in a decent way, but adding in tv shows (a different medium) will make it feel even bigger and more of a universe yk?

i feel like after the past 3 phases they now know they got a huge fanbase and can finally experiment more and disney gave them huge budgets for these tv shows, which will all be min-series (iirc) so theyre more like long movies

Yeah, I'm curious about some outside of the characters we already know, like Miss Marvel. Not sure about She Hulk yet.
