Really good episode. I wonder when they’re gonna let Roberto go full Sunspot.
Even though everyone was predicting Bastion, I’m glad they went with him instead of like strictly being Sinister or having Apocalypse for some reason be behind it too. Also feel like they have done Cassandra Nova really well but that would have people try to compare their portrayal to whatever Deadpool & Wolverine does with her
Also with that, they’ve done the Sinister and Apocalypse team up before so it’d be going around in circles. This is at least something new and should be more interesting.

for sure. That’s why I was scared they’d fall back on Apocalypse since he was the main villian of the original animated series. He wouldn’t make any sense being the one behind this but maybe it’s my fear of how marvel rarely sticks the landing with their shows

yeah the only real link to him is Cable, and that’d be a stretch anyway as it wouldn’t work with anything else but him.
I’m annoyed Beau Demayo got fired, he seems to really get it.
were cap and Spidey in the first xmen @Mac_Wit_Da_Cheese ?

Captain America was in a flashback episode with Wolverine where they went on a mission together and fought Red Skull. Wolverine hid the fact he was a mutant from him
Spider-Man was never shown fully but an episode showed his hand shoot a web
Finally caught up on 97. Some of the modern talk that gets slipped in throws me off
Never thought I’d ever hear Professor X say “thanks for saying the quiet part out loud”

It took place back in WW2 times so I’m guessing people didn’t know about mutants back then

I think the X-men appeared in the Spiderman cartoon but Spiderman didn’t appear in the Xmen cartoon.

Yep besides the one shot of his hand shooting a web he never appeared. They were only allowed to use his hand because his show hadn’t begun airing yet. The X-Men got a full crossover team up in his show
EDIT: it was just this
Dr Strange also made a cameo in the OG series and what all that they’re doing with Forge makes me wonder if he’ll pop up in here at some point
