Regardless, he’s been right about a lot of scoops. There’s a reason why these film news accounts will source him but not a MyTimeToShine or CanWeGetSomeToast claim. Plus with this one it’s not like he’s saying Peele’s on board just that he met. Most likely nothing comes out of it

It's crazy Peele even had a meeting with Marvel of all studios for any project let alone X-Men.

Peele is a very particular director with his own style that might have clashed with Marvel.

Look at how Edgar Wright clashed with Marvel over Ant Man and Ant Man is the most B/C list character ever.

Imagine how they're gonna be with X-Men

I think Peele will eventually direct a major IP movie one day but it will be something he has complete or close to complete full creative control over that's his vision and not compromised.

Like Greta Gerwig did with Barbie or even Matt Reeves with Batman
