After some time thinking about it, I’m not against RDJ playing a version of Doom, I’m more annoyed with how they revealed it. Something like that should’ve been kept under wraps and revealed as a surprise on release day, announcing it the way they did just screams that they view their audience as brain dead nostalgia babies.

But now the logistics of the whole thing has me scratching my head

F4 takes place in a universe separate from mainline 616, evidenced by the retro future 60s stuff, so it’s clear they get sent over to 616 probably by the end of that movie. But if Doom is a multiverse variant, is he the main Doom in the F4’s original universe? If he’s not, would that mean the F4 don’t have their own version of Doom at all?

All these questions you bring up kinda just prove why they should have had a new dude playing Dr DOOM lowkey lol
