If Tom Holland was a tiny bit more talented he would've made it as big as Zendaya outside the MCU I feel
Tbf I just think he has a s*** taste in scripts.
He’s never really been the problem in the things he’s in

Uncharted, Cherry, The Crowded Room
He batting 0/3 post No Way Home
In all honesty Sony could've just kept Garfield and put him in the MCU lmao
That was kind of their original plan in 2011 anyway
But I do like Tom in the role
I think high school plot line was entirely unnecessary vs college and more independence. His naviete was pushed even harder because he was in high school with really no benefit to the plot or the character at all
Nev boring
Eddie boring
the jokes very stupid and corny as f***
When he didn't need to be that
Its like they wanted to go so silly because Garfield spider man was so serious in comparsion but they reached a point comparable to spider man 3 at times
Tom Holland got the same issue as Chris Evans. They haven't really picked the best projects outside of the MCU.
Well with the exception of Knives Out. I thought Evans was gonna be everywhere after he hung up that shield. I was so wrong lol
Uncharted, Cherry, The Crowded Room
He batting 0/3 post No Way Home
Which is insane
I also think "hot take" get an american to do american heroes because those that have to act and hide their accent often times lack certain inflection on many things outside of Idris Elba and Hugh Laurie

S*** is sad lol
Zendaya needs to get him a role in one of her movies or something
The fact that Tom hasn’t even linked up with Guadagnino says enough, that man will cast ANYONE in his movies

Henry Cavill too

What are Evans memorable roles outside of Captain America? He played a douche in that Scott pilgrim joint. What else
Henry Cavill too
Dam you're right. Henry Cavill been having a rough time post Superman too.
I know he regrets turning down those Witcher Checks to being fired as Superman a month later.

Still a hilariously sad chain of events

Tyler Perry hogging all the actors who can do what you want

I don’t think he’s been memorable in much, but he did what he had to do in Sunshine & Snowpiercer
I can’t think of much else loool
It did so well as a movie that it never got a standalone sequel!
This a silly take lol everyone knows DC was cramming and rushing into team ups, batman the superstar hero didn't even get a solo movie at all so stop it

I feel like he does that in spite of MCU so I respect it

OH S*** ITS GETTING REAL IN HERE
people realizing these people getting paid millions arent great actors and actresses and actual great actors and actresses like Angelina Jolie get brought on to random s*** and roles
I don’t think he’s been memorable in much, but he did what he had to do in Sunshine & Snowpiercer

Ngl I had to look up Sunshine lol. He was okay in Snowpiercer, wouldn't say his performance was mind blowing stuff, but the film was just generally well made

Makes me wonder how the new guys over at DC are gonna navigate their careers
David Corenswet is not only gonna have to play Supes in like 5 movies + tv shows in the coming decade, he’s also gonna be voicing him in animation & video games
They are able to deliver this corny at times piss poor writing in a charismatic way but these people arent the best actors man and we all know that
One of the last OG Movie stars left
Need to see a movie with him and Leo in it before it's all said and done
What are Evans memorable roles outside of Captain America? He played a douche in that Scott pilgrim joint. What else
they're both extremely mid, plain actors
good for their specific roles in the mcu but its definitely not surprising that they haven't popped off outside of that

That one dystopia movie where society lives on a train where the high society is up front while the beggars are in the back eating slop was kinda cool, they even made a show based on it for tnt
