Yea it’s MCU/Sacred Timeline adjacent

My theory is Strange and Venom fighting is what split the timeline into a new story

Daredevil being in this and Scorpion being one of the main villains probably means they won't be in SM4

I'd imagine they tease Kingpin at the end or something since he still hasn't shown up? I presumed he was gonna be in the episode with Daredevil but obviously that didn't happen.

What a great season

God damn, this is already like a top 3 (maybe 2) animated Spider-Man show. A satisfying ass finale that sets up season 2 so well. This is the characterization of Spider-Man I would’ve preferred in the main MCU. I love Tom don’t get me wrong but this show does so much right.

I really, really hope they step up the animation quality in the next season.

At this point it’s the only real sore spot of the series, which is absolutely wild to me given it’s f***ing SPIDER-MAN and under the Disney umbrella.

The art direction is fine, but it could really use smoother animation and more detailed backgrounds.

Everything else is top shelf though.

With the Multiverse collapsing at the end of Secret Wars and everyone who survives on one Earth, I think it would be so sick to have Andrew Garfield stay in the MCU, changing his name to Ben Reilly

They went absolutely crazy with episode 10 A+

This the only spider man show that can stand shoulder to shoulder with my beloved MTV version. Every second of this was classic. Animation was fire as f***
