“Creative overhaul” has me the most intrigued. We thinking the Marvel formula gets revamped post-Secret Wars?

They really slowed down on the output
Making the series tie in heavily with the movies (Wandavision to Dr Strange 2 the most egregious example) was a big mistake imo so this is great news
Need this to pull an Agatha
What kind of thumb's up were they lol? I remember this show being in the middle of the Disney x Marvel streaming crunch
ironheart promo when
Oh damn, I guess it's back to how Marvel TV used to be
But I guess TV characters can go to movies now if they want
Yeah MCU lucky that Brave New World was the final movie from that slosh of quantity era. We never got a Shang-Chi sequal from it either lmao

damn we wouldnt have gotten Loki or Wandavision with that rule
so lame, just make good product and people will watch

I think the issue they found is that the shows became primary material for the films instead of supplementary material. Like if you didn’t watch WandaVision, you’d probably be confused about the Darkhold and why Wanda is looking for kids when she didn’t have any of that in Endgame.
The Marvels just kind of jumps into Kamala without any real introduction to her. Doomsday might have this problem with Loki being at the center of the Yggdrasil if they don’t explain it right for people who haven’t seen his show.
I think going forward it’s going to be like in Daredevil, that has its own story and nothing important to say Spider-Man will happen in it. But if Daredevil pops up in Spidey the general audience won’t have to have seen Born Again to find the links to the story in the Spidey film.
Watching Echo right now, am I wasting my time? Also do I have to watch all three seasons of the Netflix Daredevil and Punisher before watching Born Again?

Echo is a waste of time.
I wouldn't say its essential to watch the others, but it does enhance the experience
Full agree
Cut down on shows. Talents are getting spread thin and it’s been showing
There has been more quality in the pandemic era of MCU then people will admit but I think once they focus on telling great stories with MCU Easter eggs and cameos here and there, I think Marvel can return to its former glory

Facts. Marvel's depend on you watching two different MCU shows to be fully invested.
