Cumberbatch has more control behind the scenes, including the writer/director search. He wants Sam Mendes but would be unlikely due to the Beatles movies.

Is it safe to say that the MCU was pretty good overall this year?

• Thunderbolts and Fantastic Four were great
• Daredevil had its ups and downs but it ended strong
• Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man was really good
• Marvel Zombies was surprisingly fun
• Eyes of Wakanda was pretty solid

The only real “weak” project by overall consensus was Brave New World

Ironheart had some big downs, but I think it ended really strong
