I liked it for what it is. It’s short but it gets the action part down, and that stuff is great. I wish this was either a full length film or even the start to a new series because it doesn’t do enough to just be this one thing. Kind of feel like it doesn’t even need to exist in the grand scheme of the MCU. Now granted nothing really does but it didn’t have enough time to go deep enough to justify it being its own thing other than “here’s more Punisher.”

Again, I like this, but it would’ve been better if there was more. Like Ma Gnucci has one scene where she confronts Frank, sets the whole city on him, then dips. I would imagine she’s being kept alive for a reason but I hope that actually goes somewhere. There’s a power vacuum now that Fisk is out of play and I would’ve hoped that this could’ve explored that just a hair.

Daredevil and Punisher should just premiere on Hulu. Viewership would be way better

Couldn’t watch DD season 1 or Wonder Man until months later and I’m not subscribing to Disney+ just for them

Jon B was amazing as the Punisher in the Netflix series but this special presentation didn’t tap into that same energy.

Also the costume design was insanely lazy. How many generic thugs can there be.
