Before Raimi signed on, it was said DS2 will be MCU’s ‘horror’ influenced movie.

I feel Raimi is gonna go as Raimi as possible while working within the confines of a big studio movie.

It’s not gonna be army of darkness, it’s Raimi working for a major studio but I have such a feeling that it’s gonna have shades of that.

I mean it’s Mephisto/nightmare, supernatural multiverse, possible scary hell realm s***!!!

That seems even more fit for Raimi than Spiderman

Yeah, they gave him alot of freedom for 1 + 2 but with 3 Avi Arad basically said that Raimi is focussing too much on characters he likes (he also wanted Vulture in some type of role in 3) instead of focussing on "what the fans want".

Raimi did not really want Venom in it because he didn't like the fact that he wasn't very "human" or something, but added it just to please the studio
