Isn't Captain America 2 basically about the misuse and corruption of American military through overpolicing and crooked agendas from American government?

Iron Man 1 shows Tony Stark as a defense contractor, kidnapped and seeing how American military enabled zealots in the Middle East and destabilized their country. So he returns and opposes the war machine (pun not intended)

Edit: Captain America 1 is for sure the 'America saves the world from Nazis and the guy with the foreign accent' propaganda though.

It depends on how you look at it. Some could argue that it was more like “SHIELD is good but the BAD GUYS (Hydra) corrupted it!” So not SHIELD itself who were still the good guys.

Iron Man he only thinks the weapons are bad when he realizes the “bad guys” use them and not when the military was using them.

Those are just examples of how SOME could argue it is propaganda. Not that I necessarily fully agree.

Captain Marvel had a while US Air Force campaign surrounding the movie with Brie basically promoting the Air Force.

These movies I have mentioned got funding from the military too, so they definitely did like how they were portrayed.

But that makes the last 2 movies TWS and Captain Marvel which is just 2 movies in the past 8 years so it’s not as bad as people on Twitter obviously will make it out to be.
