It hasn't reached the peaks of WandaVision yet but yes that show wasn't good until ep 4. This one is definitely more consistently entertaining to say the least

he is being overstepped because they don't believe he's worthy of the shield and don't respect his "jurisdiction"
which is why imo he was anxious to complete the mission to prove himself.
No where in that post am i saying he didn't have dude handcuffed. I'm piggybacking off an earlier post talking about some of the show's lack of subtlety. There was a more nuanced way to go about that scene but this is a nitpick because I do think it worked out in the end
me saying they stuck the landing with the ending is acknowledging Lemar's comments about the serum/power just making you more of who you already are. everything he did in that last set piece is s\*\*\* he would of just done earlier had he possessed that power. So him being "unhinged" during that scene with Zemo handcuffed narratively tracks
I mean them niggas don't f*** with him. He ain't really tripping about them niggas after they said f*** you like 3 times. I mean he even got them out of jail and they was like nah I'm straight on yo ass. They never gonna f*** with him so after episode 2 he was like iite f*** it, just stay out my way--I'm stronger than y'all niggas anyway
So I wasn't under the impression he was trying to prove himself as the new Cap. He don't got nobody to prove that s*** to. White America already swear he the goat, he got all the freedom of OG Cap, the other Avengers aren't around, and these two niggas Falcon and Bucky are being some b****es.
