One of the things I find silly about the show is how the US govt decided to pass the Capt America baton to a human and not an enhanced individual.

Like did nobody in the world question that? One of things that made Steve Rogers Capt America is his superhuman strength!! Why would you pass it to a random human character?

And also how is it that the govt they keep sending him and his totally human buddy/sidekick to these dangerous missions involving superhumans without any backups... like is it a shock to anyone that neither of them are being able to hold their own in these fights? what was the plan?

nobody should be surprised his sidekick got murked - it should've happened the minute he got involved in this mess.

i think they're relying on their credentials mostly. Like Walker isn't an average soldier he's like the first American in their universe to have 3 Medals of Honor. His combat is pretty insane he's just not at the level of the serum at all

Rogers was a puny kid originally before the serum so maybe they thought if they started off with their best solider and hand him resources + the shield he'd be okay. Like Caps average missions outside of the Earth threatening superhero s*** were just intelligence and espionage missions which Walker can definitely do

its not the strongest argument but they just wanted a U.S Agent with Captain America star power. Steve himself also tried to hand the baton to a non-powered individual in Sam

Dont think he will, after last episode I think the world will begin to dislike super soldiers and distrustful of another Cap but Sam's angle will be that hes just like the average joe and not super at all so that's why they should trust him

True but they gotta feel betrayed to with him freeing Zemo after they looked after Bucky for years, gave him an arm and cured his brainwashing.

I hope Bucky and ayo make up before the end though, they said he enjoyed his time in Wakanda.

He didn’t seem to enjoy life in the city in episode 1...Maybe he can go back to wakanda after they’ve stopped the flagsmashers/sam is captain America
