Can’t believe some people took offense to the stones thing

like the TVA would find them useless to them.

Lmao nerds get offended over anything

Its kinda crazy cause comics and similar mediums do that unstable power levels thing all the time lol

I kinda get the idea of people thinking that trivializes the tragedy of IW/Endgame, but it really doesn’t. It’s similar to how I feel about the “deaths” of the snap. Sure we knew they were coming back, but if we look at it through any of those characters’ eyes thats still a wildly traumatic experience, that Endgame and the next stories handled really well for the most part.

A***yzing this s*** is cool, but when you start to ignore the pov of the characters in question, you strip some of the life out of the story. None of the Avengers knew about the TVA and even if so, they wouldn’t have easy access. Even the highest being among them being Strange said this is the way it has to be. For whatever reason the TVA saw it fit to let them do their thing and they did. Whether it be for good reason or not, we’ll find out

it always annoys me that people kinda simplify the impact of certain character deaths like vision, Gamora and Loki as less impactful just because we are seeing variants of the characters in future installments.

as if each version of the character are not their own unique story with their own story that we all watched unfold on screen.

This is a cool plot for a show outside of MCU lore. Like if this was some random Tom Hiddleston x Owen Wilson time traveling detective shows without Loki I’d watch

I feel you. On top of that, i feel like these new versions actually enhance the tragedy. Vision is self explanatory, we just had a whole show about it, The Ship of Theseus doesn’t really fix Wanda’s trauma at all. And imagine being any version of Vision having to go through all of that s***.

Even though it was played as a joke (which I really didnt like) Gamora not recognizing Quill (or any of the Guardians tbh) f***ing stings. Their development as a couple was so dependent on these weird circumstances, that they probably wont have a chance to replicate again, and I feel like Quill is gonna try his hardest to but fail, bad. Also, Gamora had the same abusive childhood that Nebula had and her time with the Guardians helped her heal. She lost all that.

And finally with Loki, I mean we just witnessed the contrast between the tragedy of a Loki, redeemed and at peace, but immediately paying for his crimes with a pathetic, painful death; and Loki at the height of his delusion and narcissism, getting plucked and humiliated again, being taunted with whatever existential crisis watching the life that he didnt get to live flash before his eyes would give you. Not to mention learning that he lost his entire family and people along the way, all in like what? 5 minutes?

S*** now that I think about it, he’s experiencing the worst parts of both Vision and Gamora’s stories. Its f***ed up.

Exactly, death does mean something in the MCU. I do wish for a bit of more impact with some characters never been seen again but yeah all of these examples enhance the experience and the history of these characters all the more

Guess she was meant to be taken from her timeline too since 2013 gamora is alive now and in our timeline now

I’m not buying what the TVA are selling I think they’re lying about some stuff being SUPPOSED to happen and they’re hiding or unaware of their agenda

would be cool if they brought her up somehow but I know we aren’t gonna hear from any of the guardians until Thor 4
