the exposition episodes were absolutely necessary, but they could still have a mix of both, instead WV became extremely generic

I would definitely agree towards the finale it became ultimately generic mcu safe word scenes.

That being said i still found some enjoyment out of the mid in the show.

Ultimately my overall problem with the show is it felt like the journey (while interesting) felt ALMOST pointless.

And side characters that i did generally enjoy have questionable moral character that bums me out tbh

I think that has been the problem , F&WS suffered a bit from the same, the finale felt generic and rushed, lets hope the Loki finale does it right

its fine to like the mcu , I like the mcu even when its mid

its not fine to trash something just because its just a little different than what you're expecting , thats the reason Disney right now is destroying cinema

I saw people saying online that everyone who made the first two episodes of WV should be fired and never work in television or cinema again

the problem is they're turning into the majority thats why movies right now are so washed out , so generic

if you take any kind of risk , bunch of weirdos will complain because that s*** aint basic enough for them so its bad

disney is turning movies and tv into idiocracy

Hereditary feels like a perfect example of this.

I found so much enjoyment out of the themes, character depth, tragedy, etc. out of the movie but most people came out of it like mindless f***ing drones and were mad that it “wasn’t scary enough”
like they wanted it to be a jump scare fest

During some of the scenes that literally ruined my week in hereditary, like the scariest scenes

It’s so weird to me, it’s like a disconnect for some people

I was literally shocked and sat there so sad when he accidentally gets his sister’s head splattered across the road

Maybe cause it felt like such a real, tangible horrifying thing that was plausible to happen to almost anyone

And the fact that everyone has put their arm or head out the window and had the thought when passing a lamp post or street sign like damn my s*** could get snapped off

And the fact there was already tension about the kid having the allergic reaction and needing to get home it was just like this is so much

the horrifying screams of loss, the table arguments and when the horror was there f\*\*\* man it was uncomfortable and disturbing
