"Fan service" is the weakest argument people can use. People have been following the MCU for over a decade so who cares if there's a little fan service in there. The shows and movies are also made by fans at this point so literally, who f***ing cares if there's some fan service in it.

I agree that would be a lazy way to do the multiverse but nothing so far has pointed towards something like that, it's just a very negative view to have on the multiverse. The multiverse brings so much more than just funny moments.
