    dead vision

  • Jan 29, 2021

I just realised there’s almost a quarter of a HUNDRED films in the MCU. In like just over a decade.

Will it eventually get to where there’s like 100 MCU movies?

In last episode Monica mentioned Pietro and Ultra, and that f***ed with Wanda so much to the point where Wanda’s control started slipping to the point where she saw the reality of her talking to Vision’s dead body bro wtf

  • Jan 29, 2021

so Wanda is fully aware of reality and knows shes ignoring it / trying to stay inside the sitcom. Pretty crazy

This episode made it feel so scientific that I entirely forgot that mephisto may still be behind all of this.

    Watching her videos now

She definitely is turning villainous and really protective of her fake world, but I still think that mephisto is the one that gave her this world. Or allowed her powers to create it

I’m all for the slow burn but I need Wanda’s name cleared!

This smear campaign dont sit right with my spirit

@Everest I agree 100% I also believe she’s being influenced. Not completely but pushed in the certain directions. Her slight moment of realization after fixing the wall felt a bit heavier than just guilt. It would also be an interesting full circle moment seeing as influencing Tony to make Ultron was her first act in the MCU. She could also have a legit case of maladaptive daydreaming thats being amped up by her powers and the mysterious third party

Speaking as someone who's read House of M which I think they're only taking partial influence from, I believe Wanda is mentally distressed (MCU version cause of the lost of vision) and is trying to cope with it by altering her reality. However I believe there is a big bad monitoring her and allowing certain actions to go in motion.

Yea they confirmed this is basically a marriage of House of M and Tom King’s Vision, which tracks, but the only thing keeping me firm on the Mephisto blame train is that Lizzy said at some point before this came out, that they were going to explore her trauma without falling into the “crazy woman” trope that a lot of people feel House of M pushed, and kinda messed with her legacy. So they can adapt certain elements like the kids and maybe even Strange taking Xaviers role in the big reveal, without as much blame being on her like it was in the original story. I dont think she’ll be the one to solely crack the multiverse, or if she is, it wont be because of her going crazy, I see it happening during the conflict or whenever this dome becomes unstable like they hinted at in tonights ep. she will be pushed to the very edge though.

oh for sure trust me certain things will probably be caused because of the confrontation between Wanda and Mephisto. definitely a huge battle at the end I see coming

how do you feel about “no more mutants” do you think we’re getting any kind of parallel? I personally don’t. S\*\*\* the “No” from ep 2 was satisfying enough of an easter egg for me. I want something new. I also don’t think mutants will be introduced here but Evan Peters Pietro will serve as a tease for the multiverse saga and mutants simultaneously
