This is the most personal Clint has been with Kate
He’s finally starting to see her as more than just an apprentice and more like a daughter figure/close friend
Before this it was just “okay I’ll work with you because you have an in and you keep butting in.”
Even with her mom and Jack. This was Kates first time really seeing that Jack does love her mother in a way.

I read a theory of why Yelena left
looks like she wasn’t trying to hurt Kate the whole fight even making sure to secure her with rope before throwing her off the roof. If her mom called Val who sent Yelena she probably made sure to tell her not to hurt Kate. makes sense to me
